On Friday, February 3, 2023, the University of Veterinary Sciences Brno hosted an Open Day for applicants to study at the Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology. Study applicants met with the faculty management and study officers in the auditorium of Professor Lenfeld's Pavilion in two rounds. Dean of the faculty Assoc. Prof. MVDr. Šárka Bursová, Ph.D. welcomed personally those interested in studying, as well as their parents, on the grounds of the university and faculty. Subsequently, the vice-dean for education Assoc. Prof. MVDr. Radka Dobšíková, Ph.D. presented to applicants not only the core Master's Degree Programmes in Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology, but also a complete range of Bachelor's Degree Programmes implemented by the faculty - Veterinary Public Health Protection, Food Safety and Quality, Food Safety and Quality in Gastronomy and Animal Protection and Welfare. The newly prepared Bachelor's degree Programme Animal Health and Environmental Protection was also mentioned briefly by its guarantor Assoc. Prof. MVDr. Hana Banďouchová, Ph.D., Dipl. ECZM.
The very rich discussion was proof of the applicants' great interest in the faculty study programmes, and all study officers and the vice-dean answered a number of questions.. We believe that the full auditorium in both runs and the and enormous interest are a promise for the future and we will meet a number of applicants not only in the admissions process, but especially on the occasion of the start of the new academic year 2023/2024 in September.
