The University of Veterinary Sciences Brno (UVS Brno) has received a prestigious international accreditation for veterinary education, which places it among the best veterinary universities in Europe with a comparable diploma for veterinarians as in the best Western European countries.
Graduates of the study programmes Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology (Faculty of Veterinary Hygiene and Ecology) and Veterinary Medicine (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine) of the UVS Brno meet the European requirements for veterinary graduates. The international accreditation confirmed the high level of the University and its position among European veterinary universities, as well as its success in the weekly examination of the UVS Brno by a nine-member team of international experts. This unique result was also obtained for the teaching of veterinary medicine in English for foreign students studying at the UVS Brno from all over Europe and for the international recognition of their veterinary diplomas.
