5. Get to know IS STAG
- in the 1st year, all compulsory and optional subjects are automatically registered to students in IS STAG (in the following years you are rensponsible for monitoring it yourself = especially the number of credits)
- for each academic year you have to collect 60 credits, i.e. for a bachelor's degree 180 credits in total, for a master's degree 360 credits in total and for a follow-up master's degree 120 credits in total
- in IS STAG you will also find: timetables (in the upper year, you will write them down yourself), exam dates and your registered exams (including results), an overview of theses, the possibility to apply for a social or accommodation scholarship, your personal data, etc.

8. Secure dormitories or other accommodation

9. Where to go for meal
- The Time canteen restaurant - they cook delicious lunches,a different lunch menu every day, you can choose from three dishes
- Snack bar „PINKafe“ (on the ground floor of the building SIC, no. 24)
- it is possible to go to another university's cafeteria
10. Join the University Library, where you can borrow mandatory and recommended literature for study and research
- the University Library is located on the 4th floor in the building of Study and Information Centre (building no. 24)
- to use the university library, you need a valid ISIC card (must be activated in the library) and a completed application form, which can be requested at the VETUNI central library lending desk
- opening hours during the semester: Mon – Thu 7:30 – 19:30, Fri – 8:00 – 15:00
- opening hours during the exam period: Mon – Thu 7:30 – 16:00, Fri – 8:00 – 14:00
- information about the literature, the number of copies, how long and under what conditions they are borrowed can be found in the online catalog
- the list of recommended literature is in IS STAG in the Course description (the subjects you are registered for can be found in IS STAG under your personal number)
