Other activities of the department

The department is involved in, among other things, ensuring:

Conference of Student Scientific Professional Activities (regularly every year since 2008, prof. RNDr. Miroslava Beklová, CSc., Mgr. Barbora Havelková, PhD)

Objectives: Supporting the development of scientific research and creative activities of students of all bachelor and master study programmes and increasing the level of students' final theses (bachelor, diploma, rigorous) in the fields of veterinary hygiene, veterinary ecology, animal protection and welfare, food safety and quality and veterinary aspects of gastronomy.

Papers containing the results of scientific research and creative activities in the  area of food safety and quality are also included in the "Students for Food Quality" competition organized by the Food Chamber of the Czech Republic.

The conference is organized by the Institute of Zoo-animal Ecology and Diseases, Game, Fish and Bees.
