The Department of Animal Origin Food & Gastronomic Sciences is located in the pavilion of prof. Lenfeld and Hökl. It consists of three units:

• Hygiene and Technology of Milk and Dairy Products
• Hygiene and Technology of Meat and Meat products
• Gastronomy

The activities of the department involve not only regular employees, but also employees of cooperating research institutes and master's and postgraduate students.
